#amatricetorn
Sometimes health & wellness simply means, healing. And that is what we were doing with TORN. In 2016 a 6.2 earthquake struck the Italian town of Amatrice, three years later the town still lies torn and in ruins. The idea, #helpusbringthepiecesbacktogether. We commissioned 50 artists from around the world to create a one-of-a-kind artworks, then film themselves tearing it in two. We posted all the pieces to Instagram and Facebook, which culminated in an eBay auction to reunite the pieces and create a symbolic “healing effect” for the work and community.” Results & Press: Thousands of euros were generated through the auction for the displaced families of Amatrice.
